2019 WAS A DYNAMIC YEAR OF CHANGE AND EVOLUTION. The progress described in our 2019 annual report is a reflection of many dedicated individuals working in the background to move The Narrative Enneagram (TNE) along the path of transforming lives and creating a more compassionate world. Our entire team stepped up to honor TNE’s history and embrace
the present as we planned for the future.
I recently read a news analysis in the New York Times titled “Why Zoom is Terrible.” Author Kate Murphy’s message asserts that video meeting applications, although necessary today, can make you feel awkward, and that video conferencing makes you feel isolated and anxious. She argues that images are blotchy and blurring, audio is out-of-sync with the video, and “video chats have been shown to inhibit ‘trust’ because we can’t look one another in the eye.”Read more
In November 2018, key stakeholders (Board of Directors, Core Faculty and staff) began laying the foundational work to create a strategic road map for The Narrative Enneagram (TNE). I didn’t understand, and thought the teachers must be wrong.Read more
The end of the year presents an opportunity to review 2018, give thanks, and look forward to 2019. The Narrative Enneagram (TNE) officially launched as a new nonprofit in January 2018 through the merger of two sister nonprofits – Enneagram Studies in the Narrative Tradition (ESNT) and Enneagram Association in the Narrative Tradition (EANT). We are the world’s longest running Enneagram school(having just celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Enneagram Professional Training Program) and a membership organization! Thank you to all board members, faculty, staff, volunteers and donors who made this happen!Read more
