It is with great pleasure that TNE welcomes Christopher Copeland as the newest member of our Core Faculty, joining Helen Palmer, Peter O’Hanrahan, Renée Rosario and me.
Chris became a Certified Narrative Enneagram Teacher in 2014. During his training in Asheville, NC, the depth of his knowledge of the Enneagram, together with his maturity and wisdom, made such a huge impact on me that I invited Chris to join the first Board of Directors of the newly formed nonprofit we now know as TNE. In the five years since, his valuable contributions have been many, including helping to bring 21st century technological advances in the teaching field to our work.
Chris began participating directly in our trainings as an Adjunct Faculty member in 2018. The knowledge he brings to our classes is informed and enriched by his broad-based education in theology, law and spiritual direction. In addition, his skills as a communicator, honed through nine years of teaching at Wake Forest University, are widely admired.
More important even than his education, skills and credentials, however, is the person Chris is – an astute, passionate observer and experiencer of life. Personal challenges faced from an early age have helped him develop and embody a deeply grounded and compassionate caring for others. He has an inner calm that resonates, and a capacity to make connections with people of many backgrounds and temperaments. Countless times over the last five years, I have seen Chris sense when something was stuck and needed to move, and then find just the right words at the right moment to help that happen. These rare qualities will mark his distinguished career as a member of TNE’s Core Faculty.
Please join me in welcoming Chris to our team!
