The Narrative Enneagram - Sheryl Cohen, PhD

The Narrative Enneagram (TNE) made a commitment in July 2019 as part of our Strategic Plan to create new online learning opportunities for our students over the next three years. Little did we know that we would be given the push we needed to work so quickly and vigorously to present all of our programs in an online format this summer!

You never know when Life will hand you opportunities.

The Narrative Enneagram (TNE) made a commitment in July 2019 as part of our Strategic Plan to create new online learning opportunities for our students over the next three years. Little did we know that we would be given the push we needed to work so quickly and vigorously to present all of our programs in an online format this summer!

We had a test run this spring when students intent on their certification took the Teacher Training online with Peter O’Hanrahan and Renée Rosario.

Here is some of their feedback:

“When the Teacher Training moved to the online format, I admit I was skeptical and hesitant. However, from the very first moment I logged in, I was reminded of why I love TNE and why I chose it as my Enneagram community. The facilitators were attentive to the complexities of an online platform and committed to delivering the same caliber of instruction and teaching.”

“I was concerned about how Zoom might impact the teaching, the quality of our human connections, and the overall value of the workshop. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised on all fronts. While I missed being in the physical presence of the community … the technology didn’t hinder our ability to connect with and learn from each other.”

TNE remains committed to providing excellent training with the same rigor, intellectual curiosity and attention to creating safe and welcoming containers online as we do in our onsite programs.

You benefit by:

  • The freedom to attend the trainings in your pajamas
  • Shorter, six-hour training days with breaks
  • No room and board expense
  • No travel expense
  • A schedule of programs spread out over the summer with time between to digest the material as well as your personal insights

Please know that changing our format will require considerable time, money and resources from our faculty and staff. Like every nonprofit in the U.S. at this time, we are financially challenged to meet our budget.

I request that you consider donating some of those funds you saved to travel to California this summer. Just add an amount in the line provided on the registration form when you sign up. We will really appreciate your help!

Thank you,

Sheryl Cohen
